All the important information about your stay in the Wipptal.
Arrival/Departure
Your room is available from 14:00 on the day of arrival. On the day of departure, we ask our guests to vacate the room by 11:00 am.
Deposit
30 % of the holiday costs up to 14 days after the booking has been made
Car
Free use of one underground parking space per room.
Booking conditions
We are happy to grant a 2 % discount for expenses paid bank transfers (only possible with IBAN/BIC) of the total booking amount until 7 days before arrival.
Guest card - discounts for summer & winter
Your will receive the guest card upon arrival at your accommodation, which includes free activity programmes and reductions in the region:
- free use of all public transport and hiking & ski buses
- free use of all cross-country ski slopes
- Reductions for the participation for the Tourist board guest programme
- Rental of snowshoes, hiking poles and snowlines
- Reduced entry to various attractions such as the Bergisel ski jump, Schwaz silver mine, Hall castle mint etc.
- Discounts on e-bike rental, Entry to basecamp Matrei, guided ski tours, bike training and much more.

Cancellation Policy
Book carefree: Safe Holidays with our special cancellation conditions
If your arrival on your booked date is not possible due to current travel warnings, entry regulations for Tyrol or border closures for Austria, you can cancel or rebook your booking free of charge. The same applies if you are infected with Covid-19 (presentation of positive test results) or have to be quarantined (presentation of a certificate).
For any other cancellations the following fees will aply:
Free cancellation until 30 days before arrival
Up to 1 week before arrival 70% of the total bookin amount
From 1 week before arrival or early departure 90% of the total booking amount

The Austrian Hotel Contract Conditions apply.

We offer allergy-friendly room furnishings on request. Our hotel also has rooms suitable for disabled guests.

- Wipptal Card = Ticket for public transport in the Wipptal valley (including buses to the mountain valleys, train to Brenner and Innsbruck, Park & Ride at Matrei and Steinach train stations)
- Bergeralm Ski School: 20% discount on your personal ski instructor in the off-season in the Bergeralm ski area (January 12–30, 2026 & March 1–April 6, 2026).
- 20% off all multi-day ski passes (2 days or more) and select season passes in the Bergeralm ski area (March 1–April 6, 2026). No additional discounts are available on family tickets and senior rates
- Sport Messner: 5% discount on your purchase in the shop.
- Childcare in the Bergeralm panorama restaurant (bookable in the adventure shop)
- Wipptal Magazine – guest newspaper with stories and tips for activities
- Free or discounted participation in the activities of the weekly program valid during the high season
- Free use of all cross-country ski trails in the region
- Free rental of snowshoes for adults and children as well as hiking poles (Steinach and Matrei offices) against a deposit
- Free rental of Grödeln (snowlines) for winter hiking (Steinach office only) against deposit
- 50% off day admission to basecamp Matrei (climbing/bouldering, sauna, fitness, courses)
- Day ticket at Balneum Sterzing for the price of a three-hour ticket (outdoor and indoor pool)
- Wipptal Card = Ticket for public transport in the Wipptal valley (including buses to the mountain valleys, train to Brenner and Innsbruck, Park & Ride at Matrei and Steinach train stations)
- 50% discount on single tickets for the Bergeralm mountain railway (1 x daily for ascents and descents; please note: only redeemable at the valley station!)
- Wipptal Magazine - guest newspaper with stories & tips for activities
- Free or discounted participation in the activities of the weekly program valid from May 19, 2026, to September 30, 2026
- 20% off e-bike rental at WippRad in Steinach (Brennerstraße 78), Sport Messner Bergeralm Steinach valley station (Huebenweg 25) and at the e-bike rental in Navis (town center next to the Spar store)
