Hike to Obernbergersee lake
The Obernbergersee lake – the natural jewel of the Wipptal valley. Worth a visit whatever the time of year.
You can park your car at the car park at the end of the valley next to Gasthof Waldesruh guesthouse. From here, take the forest route or the steep path – after approximately 30 minutes, you will reach the lake at an altitude of 1.600 m above sea level. The path along the shore will take you along the entire circumference – we recommend a small break at the idyllic lake chapel.
Hike to the Bergeralm
A must for your holiday in Steinach – a hike to the Bergeralm. At an altitude of 1.600 m, you can enjoy a brath-taking view of Steinach, as well as the Tuxer Voralpen and The Tuxer Hauptkamm range with the Olperer ( 3476 m ).
You will reach the Bergeralm in approximately one hour via a leisurely hike along the hiking path or forest path.
